Coop is a not for profit collective of community musicians
and music lovers who share creativity through live performances
(Coop Concerts), music education, peer networking and promoting
Franklin County as a hub of live music. The following tracks
have been generously donated by each artist to be shared
with you in this collection. All profits from the sale of
this CD will be used to further the mission of the Coop
and not the artists themselves. We hope this CD will encourage
you to attend one of the Coop concerts or explore the other
available offerings of the artist's discography.

"This was a love song written for the winter Coop show at the

Michael has performed throughout the USA and Asia, has composed
songs, chamber, symphonic music, and opera. Wintersong combines
American jazz harmonies with South American rhythms. The A section
was composed as an etude for flute and guitar, the B section added
in preparation for a jazz ensemble, and the final arrangement was
developed for solo guitar.

Russ Thomas is a singer-songwriter known for his humor, depth, versatility,
and a rich baritone. Founding member of COOP, he frequently performs
in support of social causes and works to help foster healthy communities
of all sizes. Russ's first CD, "Patchwork," was #1 on
Valley Advocate listing for local artists for two months in the
last millennium.
